9. Philip Doddridge, Jr.'s Order to pay Mrs Mary Doddridge, 22 July 1761 and 21 April 1762.¹

I hereby acknowledge that I am Indebted to my Cousin Mary Doddridge of Northampton Spinster in the Sum undermentioned amounting together to the Sum of forty Pounds two Shillings and sixpence which Sum I hereby direct the Executors of Archibald late Duke of Argyll deceased out of the purchase Monies of my Estate at Hounslow in the County of Middlesex to pay to M^r Nathaniel Neal for the use of my said Cousin Mary Doddridge

For three Quarters of a Years Annuity due

to M^rs Mary Doddridge at Midsummer last. 1:2:6

For Value of the Annuity 40:0:[0]

£41:2:6
