Miss Aveline, 1842

George Aveline was a Baptist Missionary Society missionary to Grahamstown, South Africa, 1838-43. The writer of the letter is his daughter.

Miss Aveline will feel much obliged to Mr Angus if he will kindly forward the parcel to Mr Aveline at Grahams Town by the first safe opportunity. Miss A will also esteem it a kindness if Mr Angus will acknowledge the receipt of this parcel by the first convenient post, it contains mementoes of a departed Parent which makes its safety a matter of anxiety
