Miss Aveline, 1842

George Aveline was a Baptist Missionary Society missionary to Grahamstown, South Africa, 1838-43. The writer of the letter is his daughter.

Miss Aveline will feel much obliged to M^r Angus if he will kindly forward the parcel to M^r Aveline at Grahams Town by the first safe opportunity. Miss A will also esteem it a kindness if M^r Angus will acknowledge the receipt of this parcel by the first convenient post, it contains mementoes of a departed Parent which makes its safety a matter of anxiety
