Isaiah 55.6 & 7
Let Sinners learn to seek the Lord
While Grace and mercy may be found
In vigorous youth and while they hear
Th’ inviting Gospel glorious Sound.
While yet he’s near address his throne
And call with reverential fear;
Delays may drown the Soul in woe
And humble pray’r the Lord will hear.
Let wicked Men forsake betimes
The dangerous road they’re travelling in,
Let each unrighteous man abhor
His guilty thoughts and ways of sin.
Then let them turn with heart sincere
To God by faith in Christ the Lord,
He will unbounded mercy shew,
Abundant Pardon will afford.
Amazing love, the Lord forgives
The rebel worms that seek his face;
Then O my Soul forsake thy sins
And seek betimes for saving grace.
